Hi everyone!
On March 13 I was in the Miss Teen Tennesee Princess pageant! Wow! It seems so long ago, but it has only been about a month! I had such a great time and learned so many things! I will definatley do it again next year, and I absolutely loved every bit of it! The preperation, mock interviews, buying the outfits, the interview, fitness wear, and my favorite part of it all has to be the evening wear!
March 20th I went to the orientation for the Germantown 5k run. My friend Tabitha got to go and help out also! Madison, Tabitha and I checked in the runners and gave them their T-Shirts that they would be wearing in the race!
The next event was the longest one yet! We had to be at the Martin Luther King Hickory Hill parade at 9:00 and we left there at about 12:30! It may not seem that long but when you are sitting in a car smiling for three and a half hours it seems long haha!! When we would turn off a street we thought it would end there but there would be a whole other street to go down!! I believe we went down six streets but it had to my second to favorite event so far! It was so much fun, and everyone was so nice to us!
On April 10th my sister and I went to the 2010 Walk for MS in Collierville. We made signs and cheered the runners on at the starting line! My sister even had the chance to sing the National Anthem!
Today on April 25th I was invited to the 2010 Earth Day celebration at Shelby Farms! I helped out at the sand bracelet area! The kids were so cute! I can't wait till my next appearance! God has blessed me so much this year in my life!

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't updated ya'll enough lately. Well, first of all I want to congratulate the new 2010 Miss Collierville and Miss Collierville Outstanding Teen! All the contestants did awesome and were so beautiful!
On January 10, I was invited to the 17th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Award Program! The service was so powerful and the choir was amazing! The awards that they gave out went to people that truly deserved them. The awards were given to people for outstanding service in the community!
Then Saturday on January 16, Madison and I went to the University of Memphis Football Weight Room Ground Breaking Ceremony! We were honored to meet the president of the college, the president of the athletic department and the new head football coach! Go Tigers!
On Monday, January 18, I had so much fun at the MLK Day Servathon 2010! This had to be my favorite appearance of the new year! I had a great time seeing all the kids make crafts, and I was able to help them make bookmarks! I left there with a new friend! Her name is Marium, and she helped out at the same table as me. She and I had so much fun together and got to know each other very well. I found out that she has been volunteering there for 7 years! I can't wait to go back!
This Saturday we go to J&B Childress to get our photoshoots done. I am so excited and have been looking forward to this for a long time! I can't wait to meet them and see the photos when they're all finished! I heard John and Becky are awesome!

I just wanted to tell everyone Happy New Year! I can not believe it is already 2010. It came so quickly. I remember New Years last year like it was just yesterday! I hope everyone had a great New Years!
Well, the last thing you all heard was us taking our trip to Joann's. We had so much fun trying on dresses! My decision was hard when I had to choose between these two beautiful dresses, but I left there with a confident choice! We all left with some beautiful dresses and some cute ones for different events! We had a lot of fun in the car going there and back!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention Paige and Jared! They were so sweet and funny! I left there with two new friends!
Our most recent event was the Liberty Bowl parade. It was probably the most fun parade so far! We went to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe, and then went to get in our car that drove us in the parade! We were number two and were right behind the mayor, who we got a picture with! At one point these clowns came over to us and made us balloon animals. They were so cute! This weekend is the Miss Collierville pageant, and I can not wait to see who gets crowned as the new 2010 Miss Collierville!

I just got back from the Ronald McDonald House visiting Amanda. She is 11 yrs old and has a brain tumor. Her and her parents were so sweet to let us come to see her. We got the opportunity to crown her as Little Miss Memphis, and we gave her the movie "Prancer", a necklace, a tiara, and banner that had her title on it!
It really opened our eyes up for us to see that we are so blessed, and we can take things for granted very easily! She was so excited to see us and we felt the same about her! I wished we could have stayed longer, but hopefully we can come back and see her again sometime!
This Wednesday we are going to Joann's to look at dresses! I can't wait to meet Paige and Jared and to see the different kinds of dresses!
Especially the car drive...there will be tons of fun! Hopefully I can leave with a dress chosen!

This past week has been amazing reading to the kids! On Wednesday I went to my first class at Arlington Elementary. I did not know what to excpect from all the little kids. As I was walking down the hallway the class was coming into the room and one girl said, "Oh my gosh, she's going into our room!" They were all so sweet and precious!
As I started to leave the next class a couple of the kids ran up to the chair that I sat in and wouldn't move! The last class I went to, they asked me to sing!
I finally figured out that when one person gives you a hug they all come and give you hugs. One of the girls and boys were almost latched on to me! Haha the little boy said he wanted to stay with me. He was adorable!
The next day I arrived at Riverdale Elementary and read to almost 240 kids all at once!! They can ask some funny questions. I thought it was so cute when they asked me if they could touch my crown. I can not wait to go to some more schools.

As they called my name out to become the new 2010 miss Memphis princess I was in total shock and amazement!! I was so honored and blessed that night! I'm so thankful for everyone that supported me, and got me prepared for that unforgettable night that I will never forget!
I want to thank God for putting so many special people in my life! Especially my mom who is always there for me, no matter what, and my sister, Ashlee, who got crowned as Miss Memphis the same night I was crowned! I was so happy to share that exciting night with her and be able to spend my whole year with her and Madison! Everyone else that helped me, thank you so much for your support!
My first appearance as Miss Memphis Princess was incredible! We went to the Kindle awards, and that very next morning we went to cheer on the runners for the St. Jude marathon. It was incredible to see that 10,000 people come and spend their time to support St. Jude! We had so much fun cheering them on and singing Christmas carols. That same night we were invited to be in the Memphis Holiday Parade! I seriously don't know how many times I said Merry Christmas haha! It was so much fun to see all the little kids turn and say to their parents "I want to be a princess too!" They were adorable and we all had a blast together! I was very excited that my best friend, Olivia, got to come and be the photographer for the night haha!!
I am so excited for the future events this year that we get to go to and I can't wait! My journey has just begun!
