Diane won Miss Memphis 1979 and for her talent she performed a jazz dance routine. She is a graduate from the Unievrsity of Tennessee at Martin and also a graduate from New York University. She has used dance and movement as both expressive and integrative therapy when working with emotionally disturbed children and adults. Diane works as a psychotherapist, is a full time dance instructor, and resides in Chapel Hill, NC with her husband Robert Lawson.
