Competing and winning Miss Memphis really helped me with my people skills and my communication skills. When you are talking with people, giving interviews, and making appearances, you have to be personable and know how to handle yourself in any type of situation. That is what winning the title of Miss Memphis did for me. I feel that I can handle myself anywhere. My communication skills, and my eye contact is great. The experience of competing, and the skills I have learned have followed me throughout my life.
